The Board of Petrel is committed to having the highest degree possible of corporate social responsibility in the way the company undertakes its activities. We aim to have an uncompromising stance on Health, Safety, Environment and Community (HSEC) relations.

The board of Petrel and its international team has more than two decades of community and environmental experience in various regions of the world. We aim to contribute in a positive way to the indigenous development, without affecting the quality of life in the areas in which we operate. Petrel does not have an expansive set of policy documents and procedures, which is reflective of the relatively scale and size of organization. Instead, the group’s HSEC policy is designed to meet the regulations and conditions of each country, and frequently involves creating innovative and proactive solutions to societal and environmental challenges, as well as collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders. The group also generally deploys external advisors to ensure that good practice is achieved.
